Meet Julieanne, An Authority on Prolonged Singleness
I help singles find hope that they can get married with God's help.
“The final battle between the Lord and the reign of Satan will be about marriage and the family.” — Sister Lucia of Fatima
We can see this going on all around us right now. I assist singles in developing biblical strategies to overcome and marry!
Meet Julieanne
I never aspired to be an adept about prolonged singleness. Nor was it my goal to be working in this field. Sometimes God has a different plan for our lives than we have for ourselves. I graduated from college in 1990 and then from law school in 1993. After I took and passed the NJ State Bar Exam that same year, I honestly believed I would meet and marry someone within a few years. I was in my mid-twenties.
I watched from the sidelines as all my friends from high school, college, and law school married. In my mid thirties, I moved to Pennsylvania making new friends approximately ten years younger than myself. Then they became engaged and married. I was beside myself, dejected, and upset with God. It was through learning the truth about marriage and singleness as delineated in the Magisterium of the Catholic Church that I was delivered from false teaching that’s still out there today regarding a vocation to singleness “just because.” I was able to pursue God for a suitable spouse because I learned that was truly His will for me.
With the help of several Catholic women, I was able to leave my own prolonged singleness. With much work, dates, and prayer, I finally met and married my husband, Seth, at the age of 42. Passion of Hope is intended to be a resource similar to the mentoring that I received, and what I had wished was available to me when I was single. For me, this isn’t just a service, it’s a ministry.
Currently: Julieanne obtained a Certificate of Completion in Spiritual Formation from the Avila Institute on August 25, 2026. Julieanne is presently enrolled in the Heart of Christ Spiritual Direction Program, in partnership with the Avila Institute, with an anticipated graduation of June 2028.
I named my website and ministry "Passion of Hope" for a reason.
Brand Value
The word passion comes from the Latin word pati/passio, which means “to suffer.” The hardest battle for singles in prolonged singleness is the suffering of one’s hope that they will indeed marry.
- I started out wanting to write a book.
- I appeared on podcasts, gave talks, mentored singles, and began the Encouragement Group first.
- My books, I Desire Marriage: Hope for Singles Seeking God for a Suitable Spouse and I Desire Marriage: A Companion Journal & Resource Guide, are being published this year. Both will be available on Amazon beginning October 7, 2026.
You Don't Have to Stay Single
God wants marriage for you more than you want it for yourself. I came to believe this. The road from prolonged singleness isn’t easy, but it’s possible. I’m here to encourage and support you as you seek God for your suitable spouse. Don’t stay stuck.
God is looking to do a miracle in you as well.
